ERP Support Manager

 

 

Provectus Recruitment are currently seeking an ERP Support Manager, to join a leading international instrumentation manufacturing business, as they upgrade, implement, and optimise the use of ERP systems throughout their organisation.

 

This business employs around 700 people across the UK, Europe and North America & focus entirely on high-tech sensor-based technology development for high-demand markets, such as Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Food & Beverage etc.

 

Following acquisition of several businesses in a similar field of engineering, we are now seeking someone that can develop and manage the support ticketing system, and overall support network to internal customers on use and optimisation of ERP system and processes within the business.  

 

Key Duties

 

  • Develop, maintain and manage ERP support ticket system.
  • First line technical support and solution of user queries
  • Handling of ticket escalations, including communication with third parties
  • Control and management of ERP user access; permissions / security / new users
  • Develop SharePoint site for users to refer too for FAQ, queries, technical support and general systems knowledge.
  • Supporting other ERP specialists with ongoing systems training/support.
  • Manage patch and system/ enhancement upgrades into the user network.
  • Support continuous improvement projects

 

Candidate Profile

 

We are looking for candidates that have extensive ERP systems experience, in a manufacturing/engineering type environment.

 

  • Experience in a ERP, Support, Project Manager role
  • Experience of ERP systems, ideally QAD, and end to end implementations.
  • Experience of ERP help desk or support role is desirable.
  • Have a logical approach to troubleshooting / problem solving.
  • Ability to lead with confidence and authority whilst maintaining a collaborative working atmosphere.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all functions and levels.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Understanding of change management and change management systems

 

International travel will be required to successfully execute the job role, covering factory and sales locations in Europe, Asia and North America. (Although not huge amounts of travel)
